CHRISTINA MATTHEWS

Christina is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, depression and anxiety. She incorporates treatments of: Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Somatic Hypnotherapy, Age Regression, Bodywork and vibrational energies such as sound and color to help release trauma from the body and integrate aspects of the personality. She is also a student of Baha’i mysticism and utilizes spiritual and metaphysical healing techniques such as prayer, meditation, Quantum Field Healing, Divine Light Healing, Hypnotic Process Art and Jungian Archetype Analysis. Christina is an internationally known Hypnosis Instructor, a popular Convention Speaker, and a Professional Teacher and Musician. She is published in the Illinois Counseling Association “Contact” Magazine, and is the Editor-in-Chief of “REFRAME” Magazine, a professional magazine for practicing hypnotists. As a member and educator for the ICBCH (International Certification Board for Clinical Hypnotherapists), ICA (Illinois Counseling Association), and HPTI (Hypnosis Practitioner Training Institute) she provides training and mentoring for therapists and hypnotherapists and offers clinical counseling services to private clients in her office in the western suburbs of Chicago.
